How to install a package in a permanent way on each profile?
Hello,
I have a problem with the package of "freemind" software.
In this software you have some modules, like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc..)
With my package, when i (local administrator) launch a module, i see only the first time a bar progression of installation.
And if i close the module and re-run it, the module open without the bar progression.
And, i can launch 2 or 3 modules in same time.
NOW, if a simple user run a module, he have every time the bar progression of installation. (the application install stuff in each profile)
And, if a user launch a another module, we see a popup who ask to close the first module to continue... with 3 options : RETRY / CANCEL / IGNORE.
If i chooses IGNORE, i had a another popup who ask me to reboot the computer.
If i click on "NO" i see a explorer windows ... I close it and retry to launch the second module : it's working good.
I think, the probleme come from NTFS permission...
Did you ever see anything like this ?
Do you have any tips for me ?
Best regard,
Keihilin
Ps: i work on AdminStudio 7.5

Hi Keihilin,
Then you should use Active setup to generate that user data in each profile...
KrisBcn
Note: First search which component is launching the self-repair looking at the event-viewer, then you should fix the reason why it launches it (registry permissions, user data, file permissions, etc...) You can use procmon (regmon+filemon) and regview, between other tools...
