How to properly use the Mozilla Maintenance Service?
Hello,
I am trying to use the Mozilla Maintenance Service in order to upgrade our standard corporate Firefox 60.1.0 ESR to the latest version. We have already enabled auto updating and users who use Firefox are perfectly fine and their browser updates silently with no issues. However, we have a large number of people who don't use Firefox ESR but have it installed. We've noticed that if the browser is not in use - it will not auto update, which is an issue in our case. I know that the Mozilla Maintenance Service supports some command line parameters. I've been playing around with them for quite some time with no luck whatsoever.
The wiki I'm referring to: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Windows_Service_Silent_Update
So my questions are:
1. Can I use Mozilla Maintenance Service to launch silent upgrade on users who don't start Firefox?
2. If yes - can someone please provide some examples as to how to use the command line parameters?
Thank you very much,
Boyan

If you have a management appliance use that to run firefox as a different user in a remote session and that should update it. If you don't use psexec to run remote task same way

Thank you.
I was planning to create an SCCM baseline and run as user. However I’ve no idea how to use the Maintenance Service, which was my main question.
Any ideas?

I configured MMS when I created my golden master. (see other answer for picture) not sure how to change after without replacing the json file that contains those settings.
