how to remove file after adding to msi

Hello,

After making a msi, i added a file. When uninstalling, the file stays on the system. How do i tell the msi to remove the file. I think this is an easy question but cann't find it.

It should remove automatically.. check the component installing the file doesn't have a permenant attribute set.

Always validate and fix any ICE errors in u're package, if all else fails you can use the remove file table.

hello babric,

right click the msi -> edit with wise package studio -> go to files ->select file from source computer and add it in the msi.

monday morning after i tested the palm usb driver problem.......
so monday also a busy day.....hhahahhahahahah

Have in mind that if you use the remove file table this will not work for files located within other users "User Profile", but that you already knew ;)
