Office add-ins are installed into user profiles. Exactly where in the registry depends on what version you're running. They're not hard to find.
It would've been quicker to run a snapshot tool to take a 'Before' and 'After' snapshot of uninstalling the add-in than it would have been to wait for an answer here.

HI,
Deleting Normal.dotm is not the recommended solution because it deletes the old settings if any.
e.g. Suppose other than this Mind Manager Addin if there is some other addins to0 then deleting Normal.dotm deletes its settings too.
Before installing this MindManager addin , if incase you have backed up Normal.dotm then it could be replaced by it OR if you are sure there is no other settings configured for Word then only you can delete it otherwise it is not recommended to delete.

Each Office application has its own object library which you can use to add and remove add-ins programmatically. This has to be done in the context of the logged in user, so using Active Setup to do this would be the simplest way. I'm sure you can find plenty of examples of using the office objects via Google.
