How to unpack cab file
MicroEdge GIFTS 6.2.1 is an executable. However, as soon as Gifts finishes installing, it then kicks off the installation of Crystal XI. The installation for Crystal XI is an embedded MSI inside the GIFTS exe. I got the MSI, but it is looking for data1.cab. I looked at the other install files for GIFTS and found a data1.cab, but it does not seem to be the correct one. There is also a large data2.cab file. I think that the data1.cab for the MSI is inside the data2.cab and gets exposed during installation.
I'm trying to find a way to unpack the data2.cab file to see if the data1.cab file is inside it. I can't use WinZip because it is not recognized format. Any ideas on utilities to unpack this cab file?

Hi VBScab,
Thanks for the response. The SETUP.EXE /A did not work. It gave errors because the Crystal XI was not already installed.
However, while trying to install it again, I saw it was copying a Data1.cab file to a Crystal 11 Setup folder. I looked in the C:\Gifts folder and sure enough, there was a "Crystal 11 Setup" folder that had the MSI and the Data1.cab file.
I didn't think to look in the installation folder because many times the installation will delete files that it created during the install. I'm good now. Thanks!
