IBM WEBSPHERE MQ 6.0
Hi
I am trying to package IBM WEBSPHERE MQ 6.O. It has a vendor MSI . When trying to install it with the /qb it throws an error like "One or more process is missing please check the log file for further details". If I am trying to install without silent option it gets installed properly.
Does any one have any idea whats going wrong please help.
Thanks
RRV

Ah...the joys of IBM's MSI "skills"...
It's almost certain that a Custom Action appears in the User Interface sequence but not in the Execute sequence (either Immediate of Deferred).
If you log both installs, you can compare them. It would probably be quicker, though, to examine the silent log where it fails and then back-track through the actions.

I am packaging IBM Webshere MQ 7.0. I want to suppress the MQ Prep Wizard after IBM Websphere MQ installation completes.
Have you been thorugh this step for version 6.0. If yes, kindly help me. - ankita_g29 11 years ago
I could find a solution for this, added LAUNCHWIZ=0 in the response file.
When I launch the prepare wizard exe(amqmjpse.exe) it takes some values so is there any way to capture them in any file.. - ankita_g29 11 years ago
