This is because one of the keys is not the same size/length as its meant to be.

ie: feature.1=s32 tablexx.feature_=s38

s32 = string of 32 chars length.
s38 = string of 38 chars length.

You will need to change the "column schema" (using Orca).

Hi, I am getting a similar erro:

ICE32 ERROR Possible Mis-Aligned Foreign Keys
ModuleSignature.1 = s144
ModuleComponents.ModuleID = s72

Can you assist? What should I fix?

Thanks, Dafna

Hi,
I'm getting a similar error in the validation table
ICE32 ERROR Possible Mis-Aligned Foreign Keys
ISIISCommon.1 = s50
ISIISMetaData.ISIISCommon_ = s72
Could you please tell me how to solve it?

Shetty,

way to revive old topics [:D]

Seriously though, what you could do is

Export the ISIISMetaData table
change it where it says s72 to s50 in your export
re-import the table

notice the bold font on could there though, wether you want to do this is debatable. I'm thinking this is an ICE validation error you might want to ignore. Basically what it's telling you is that a foreign key in one table (ISIISMetaData) doesn't match in formatting to the key that it references in the main table (ISIISCommon). my initial reaction to this is So What [:)]

Hope this helps,

PJ

my initial reaction to this is So WhatHear, hear. I do know that some clients want all errors to be fixed but, frankly, that's where the packager's "client education baseball bat" needs to be introduced.
