Identify installed drviers

Is there a way to create a report that will show BIOS and driver versions of all workstations on our network using the K1000?

If the devices are in the SMA inventory. You can use the SMA reporting feature to create a SQL report.

Select

NAME,

OS_NAME,

BIOS_NAME,

BIOS_VERSION,

BIOS_MANUFACTURER,

BIOS_DESCRIPTION,

BIOS_IDENTIFICATION_CODE,

BIOS_SERIAL_NUMBER,

BIOS_RELEASE_DATE

from MACHINE

Sorry for the newbie questions. Would it be possible to run a detect job that would identify the currently installed drivers including the versions on a device in the SMA then report off of that?

thanks

  • To become familiar with the SMA product.
You may visit support.quest.com to access the Administrator Guide and training videos. You can also purchase SMA training if required.
To name a few of the features of the SMA, the device inventory, patching, and software catalog inventory collect data from devices and store the information in the SMA database. Once this information is in the database, you can report on it. - KevinG 9 months ago
