IE 7
Hi,
Can anyone provide the link to donwload IE 7 Full.
At below link it doesn't look like full source:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=9AE91EBE-3385-447C-8A30-081805B2F90B&displaylang=en
as it is only 14.7 mb.
Also, what is the correct way to package it.
Please suggest
Thanks,

- From what I recall, that *is* the full source
- You need the IEAK for IE7 to customise the browser before deployment
- Read the Package KB. That's what it's there for! :)
BTW, earlier, I notified the moderator that this thread is in the wrong forum. It should be in 'Package Development' and may be moved there.
Also, I suspect that the same forum will be chock full of posts about IE7. I *believe* IE is quite a popular browser.

Hotfixes are normally handled by Windows Update/WSUS, aren't they?
Off the top of my head, I can think of a QAD method to get the updates: install IE7 on a VM/VPC then connect to Windows Update. When you get the list of applicable updates, use the 'Administrator options' link to enable the downloading, rather than installation, of the hotfixes.
Personally, I'd leave the whole to Windows Update/WSUS especially if your package is targetted externally.
