InstallAnywhere Silent Install

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to deploy a program which was packaged with InstallAnywhere (Scholastic Achievement Manager).

I ran the install with the '-r' switch and it generated the 'installer.properties' file.

I then ran the installer with '-i silent' and '-f' with the silent UI specified in the file and it'll load for about 20 seconds and then I get a 'script 2000 error' in Altiris Deployment. I can't even find out to log the error so I can look at it specifically.

Any ideas?

you can't find the log? it's so easy doing a search on all files with *.* and sort the result by date. if the log is there, you can't miss it.

I know how to do a search.......it doesn't create a log, so I was wondering if there was some syntax where I can have it generate a log.

This is what '-r' generated in the 'installer.properties' file:

# Wed Sep 08 11:53:25 CDT 2010
# Replay feature output
# ---------------------
# This file was built by the Replay feature of InstallAnywhere.
# It contains variables that were set by Panels or Consoles.

INSTALLER_UI=silent

#Quicktime Installation
#----------------------
INSTALL_QUICKTIME_YES=0
INSTALL_QUICKTIME_NO=1

#Choose Install Folder
#---------------------
USER_INSTALL_DIR=C:\\Program Files\\Scholastic Enterprise\\SAM
