Iprint Client 4.15-couldnot connect to the printer!

Hi all,
We have repackaged "novell IPrint client 4.15". The package installs well however when we open the shortcut, it takes quite a time to launch and also when we try to connect to network/ download printer files it doesnot goes to the next page and the application stucks up finally.

we tried silent switches as recommended, creating response file as suggested for previous versions.
But nothing seems to be working for this version of Iprint.

Has anyone experienced such issue.. Please help us urgently!
Thanks in advance!

hi,
we have created a .bat file which will trigger the setupipp.exe file and used a silent command /s for the .exe but still the command prompt pops up so wat we did is we ran the .bat thru a .vbs file
'===================
' Start.vbs
Set objShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
objShell.Run "Start.Bat", 0, True
'==================

change the name of the .bat to ur .bat name and in the .bat file give the location of ur .exe

e.g

C:\iPrint Client\setupipp.exe

Hope this helps u???

Wait a second.....I don't seem to see the bit where you say you monitored the application start-up with a process/file/registry monitor or where you posted the details of that monitoring, as you have been advised to undertake on countless occasions. I guess you must have hit 'OK' before you had finished, eh? :)

There is no need to repackage this really. I just launch the nipp-s.exe with elevated rights and no switches. It runs silent and I have never had any issues deploying it this way.
