Is there a way to show the Kace Agent system tray icon on select machines?
I know how to enable this icon across all devices using the communications checkbox however before we enable that option I would like to test its behavior on a few machines first. Does anyone know if there is a registry key or a command line option to enable the icon on select machines for testing? I realize that it would likely disable itself on next check in/inventory if the global setting is deselected but it may give me enough time for my testing.

negative, you can disable it for an entire ORGanization (if you have an ORGs enabled SMA license).
you might want to request that feature, like disable it manually and ask for a way to enable it or disable it per label.
