ISM file setttings are missing

Question

I am working on a product for which we have an ism provided by the development team and it contains all the files and other data mapped to it.

This product is having an issue with icons and self heal.

WHen I tried to edit the msi, it is opening in REad-only mode but there are no readonly attributes in its properties.

When I tried to build the ism again and do ice resolution, I can see that the Validation options are also disabled.

Could you please suggest.

Clearly, some process is holding open the MSI. A file-lock viewer tool will tell you what process it is.
