Hi keshav,
first of all: How do you start the repairing process of any Java MSI?
AFAIK, there was no single Java MSI (from Sun) so far, which has the repair button in ARP enabled.
Missing files also can't trigger a repair, because there are no key files to use.
The Java distro is some kind of pseudo MSI wrapper of its one kind.

I've never been that interested to look but isn't it a collection of ZIPs which the MSI extracts?

Hi Ian,
exactly. They are extracted to a temp location and then unzipped to its destination.
And therefore no key files. More than that: Can't see a single entry point for a repair.
