Just started packaging on Windows 7 with Wise 8

Hi,
We have upgraded to Wise 8.0 and I have just started creating a package on Win 7 x64 for the time and I do not seem to be able to select the setup capture config file on the sharepoint. Wise keeps reverting back to local.

Has anyone come across these problems ?

Many thanks in advance
Jimmy

Sorted: I needed to add my Domain account which was running the networked Wise to local admins on the VM.

Put yourself in the FD's position: what financial benefit to the company derives from migrating 'x' workstations to W7? None? Increased cost, you say? End-user training? OK, well, what technical benefit might there be? Debatable, but I'd say that the overwhelming majority of corporate XP installations work just fine, thank you very much. That situation also neatly sidesteps the "out of support" dilemma. Are there any 64-bit mainstream apps you want to run? Hold up the fingers of one hand and count them.

Don't get me wrong: I like to keep up with technology (that's why I run to the expense of an MSDN subscription) but the figures simply don't yet add up for most companies.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
