K1000 Restore from Backup
I'm working on documentation for our Kbox at our DR site. Since I haven't had the pleasure of having to do this I need a question answered. Once the DB is restored on our DR site, and the DNS entry has been changed, will I need to reupload the security cert for SSL, or will that be in the backup?
The webserver name will be staying the same. The only thing that will change will be DNS to point to the DR site. I'm thinking I will not need to worry about this since the FQDN will be the same?

Your SSL setup should be included in the backup. I don't know a whole lot about DNS so I will let let someone else answer that.

Thanks. The DNS is the easy part. Just wanted to verify the cert. Hopefully I'll never need to use it, but you never know. - dugullett 11 years ago
