KBOX Agent - Configuration

Hi Team,

How do we go about updating the configuration for the KBOX Agent on remote machines?

We have a few machines in our business who are not reporting in and it seems they are setup with the AMP Agent of "KBOX" rather than our server IP.

We are hoping for a easy option, e.g. Configuration file or Registry entry note that the K1000 cannot talk to these machines (says not connected to AMP Agent), but they can talk to the K1000.

Cheers

alternatively you need only run c:\Program Files\Dell\KACE>amptools.exe -resetconf host=new_kacename

This replaces the hostname with the correct one, as you said this is the only issue.

Restart the agent and all should be fine

you can always take the C:\ProgramData\Dell\KACE\amp.conf from a working machine and copy it to the others.
