I'm struggling to get this packaged. Has anyone been successful - any advice appreciated.

The installation has two phases. First, it installs "system files." Then it reboots the system. When the next logon takes place ( either manually by a user or admin or you can specify an autologon in advance ) the rest of the application installs.
The app is an installshield executable ( no msi files ). I should point out that I need to deploy the app via Active Directory, so there has to be an msi file.
THe app allows you to do a silent/auto install using an answer file. So, I created a msi file that runs "setup.exe" with the correct parameters for the silent/auto install.
If I run setup.exe with the parameters from the command line, everything works great. When I launch it from the msi file, at several point it stops with the diologue box indicating I'm trying to run something over the network - do I want to continue? If you're sitting there and can click on OK, of course. However, when you deploy via AD you can't, so the install appears to hang.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hi wood:
As u said u r running the setup.exe from ur msi. But the problem is that setup.exe is installshied executable so it might also be running its own msi (embedded in the setup.exe or the isscript msi). U can try one thing Put a delay in ur msi and call the setup.exe after installFinalize action. Which tool are u using for repackaging?
