Limitation on K1000 patch push -
Quick question, i am hoping someone can help me with - we have k1000 appliance and wanting to know if there is a limitation to how much patches k1000 can push down. for example - a machine gets built but doesn't have say 3,4 or months worth of patches. can K1000 push to back fill those missing patches?
thanks
Emmie

yes.
You ran always a detect job which checks which patches are missing.
if they are avaiable on the appliance they are pushed to the client and are installed during the next deploy job.
If not avaiable on the appliance they are downloaded at the next download schedule from the internet and get pushed next time you run a deploy job
You can limit this with using patching labels and/or subscriptions.
If you run multiple detect and deploy jobs split them after the machines not after the patches you want to install.
