LiveLink Explorer - Help Required!!
Hi all,
I'm having a nasty issue with the above application and I wondered if anyone here can help me.
The problem I have is that the application's desktop icon is not a shortcut, it's an entry in the HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENT VERSION\EXPLORER\DESKTOP\NAMESPACE registry hive which loads up library file LLNS3.DLL. As such I cannot advertise the required HKCU configuratuion settings with it and therefore users are being requested to enter file locations, server locations etc... on first launch.
I've had a look through the Package Database and can't find anything. I've also tried to fire off an install by having a key path under HKCU\Classes instead of using the file itself, but this seems to break the install completely.
Has anybody got experience of advertising HKCU settings in this sort of scenario?
Kind Regards,
NookZ
