.lnk files are not detected as shortcuts in my appv package
I try to add 64 shortcuts to an existing package.
I use "open for upgrade" and use monitoring to detect the additional shortcuts.
The .lnk are not being detected as shotcuts but are added as normal files.
What can be causing this issue, how can I avoid it.
We are using the sequencer with version 4.5.0.1485

you should be able to add shortcuts without installation monitoring, using the Add.. button on the Configure Applications page. See also this technet article, point 6.

Thanks for your response.
In this case I wanted to use a vbscript for the creation of these shortcuts because there were so many (64 !) and capture the result.
Anyway, the problem was cause by an very stupid mistake.
The shortcuts were created but the target files were not yet placed where they had to be.
This has probably caused the sequencer not to detect the shortcuts as valid ones.
