Location of KACE agent?
I am running a 30-day evaluation of a K1000 box with orgs functionality enabled. Attempting to deploy the agent, but the agent install is missing from the "\client" and "\client_drop" folder shares, do I need to download and place the agent in those shares from somewhere else or should it be populated automatically?

Settings>Security Settings> Enable file sharing
Did you go to Settings>Security Settings> Enable file sharing? Then set password.
It's been a while since I've had a trial, but I'm pretty sure you have to turn this on.

Sorry just read you had orgs. Under system K1000 settings>Control Panel>Security Settings> Enable Org file shares. This should cause a reboot. - dugullett 12 years ago
As a trial KBOX, support is provided through chat here: http://www.kace.com/support/trial-kbox
That said, you need to download the agent .bin file and upload it to the KBOX.
Assuming your K1000 is at 5.3.53053, the agent version is 5.3.53177.
Latest Agent version: http://downloads.kace.com/support/customer/release/K1000/5.3.53177/k1000_agents_5.3.53177.kbin

I don't think you can download as a trial. - dugullett 12 years ago

Trial support should be able to provide temporary credentials so that he can. - jknox 12 years ago

It's been a while since I've had a trial. I don't remember having credentials until we actually purchased. I guess things change though. - dugullett 12 years ago
