Maple 10 and silent install

We are trying to deploy Maple 10 via a silent install. This is suported as long as you have an installed items.txt file. This is similar to an answer file. We are calling the network installer from a mapped network drive. We have a .bat file that calls the network installer and tells the installer where the installed items.txt is.

The issue is that the installer starts and seems to run. The script we ran just hangs and never seems to finish. This also happens when you try to install Maple 10 manually from the network share.

Our installed items.txt file is the same as the examples on the Maple Soft install guide.
The text file looks like this.

INSTALLER_UI=SILENT
USER_INSTALL_DIR=c:\\Program\ Files\\Maple\ 10
IS_SERVER=No
LICENSE_MANAGER_SERVER_1=servername
MULTI_USERS=1
DESKTOP_SHORTCUTS=NO
USER_REQUESTED_RESTART=No

INSTALL_WATCOM=Yes
WATCOM_INSTALL_FOLDER=c:\\watcom

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I would give Filemon a try, check that it can access this .txt file you are talking about...

Any reason you aren't repackaging it into an MSI (assuming it isn't one already)?
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
