Microsoft DST Patch breaks Java

I heard that if you apply the "Daylight Savings Time" OS patch it will break certain versions of Java (150 update 5 and earlier). Also I'm hearing that if your PC is set with Canadian regional settings and you apply the DST patch, you need to have 150 update 10 or Java will break.
This is the buzz about the office at the moment but I've done no research on my own. I was just curious to see if other shops were having similar discussions.

Anyone heard of (or experienced) any breaks in Java (or other programs) with the Daylight Savings Time 2007 (DST2007) patch for U.S. EST (GMT -5:00) ??
The DST seems kind of last minute for MS...and the change was passed in Aug 2005, but we are just seeing a patch now from MS (only 3-4 weeks away from the timechange)...and they are not really conclusive of the order to patch if you are using MS Exchange in a domain environment....
