Mixing software label and peripheral labels....
We use Kace100 at work and I have a simple question : how can I apply an action (softawre installation for example) on a set of computers that share a dynamic software label ?
My problem : we have different version of Owncloud clients on our computers and I want to installthe the last oneĀ on them
I m able to create a dynamic software label that is able to find all the versions of the client but I m unable to create by this way a list of computers to apply the action to (ie I can't select this dynamic software label when creating a list of computers...)
Sorry for this basic question but i m a newbie that haven't found any clear explanation on the Q&A forums

So if you are new to KACE you have to create a device smart label to group your devices and this device label can be linked to a managed installation. Go to "Inventory/Devices" and at the top right you see under the search field "Smart Label". There you can add your needed filters for your clients to group them and once this is done you save it. Then you go to "Distribution/Managed Install" and add your different Owncloud installations there. Assign then your device smart label to this installation and then it should work.
In best case consider a quickstart or knowledge transfer from us to get up and running with the appliance. You can contact your sales rep for it.
