Hi,

I need to install this application silently on windows 8.1 RTM.

When I install the "SQLManagementStudio_x64_ENU.exe" i get few compatibility warnings as shown in the attached image(Compatibility Assistant Warning.png).

I read in few blogs that if you apply SP2 patch these warnings should not appear. But when i try to install SP2 Patch it gives an error saying "No Shared instances available"

If i try to do a slipstream of the patch (SQLServer2008R2SP2-KB2630458-x64-ENU.exe) using the instructions given in the below link it throws below error "Slip Streaming Error.png"

Does anyone know how to install "SQLManagementStudio_x64_ENU.exe" silently on windows 8.1 RTM machine.

We have to install "New SQL Server stand-alone installation" inside that we have to install all the features and have to resolve the compatibility warnings as well.
