MSI Installation
hi i have a msi file which installs fine but when i launch application each time a registry key is Poping up to merge. so how to disable this one in msi.

are you sure the regedit is part of the msi installation, and not of the application itself?

Actually it is setup.exe file......they repackaged to .msi and while i tried to installed that msi.....a reg key is poping up.........i too tried to repackage the application same thing is happen .............when we install setup.exe there is no problem....but when we repackage it then i come a registry problem.................. i tired checking custom actions but i didnt find....... - enthusiasm 12 years ago
