MST not creating after running install tailor
HI.
I have one program that is an MSI. i would like to create a mst for it but when going thru the process it completes but the mst never create. the folder stay empty. all other applications i create work fine but only one of them dont want to work. i use wise.
any Ideas

Hmmm...At my current client's site, sometimes WPS can take a L O N G time to get around to writing the MST. It's something I've learned to live with. If you're sure system performance isn't the issue, run your tailoring while monitoring it with ProcMon or your favoured file/registry monitor. That will tell you exactly what's going on. Or not going on, as the case may be. :)

I've seen this before. It depends on what sort of MST you are creating. If you are just accepting defaults on a install:
Right-click, Edit the MSI, make any changes you'd like and then click File, Save As, and select MST.
If you are going through options of the MSI at install time such as choosing features, etc., you will have to create the MST via the above method and then choose features via the MST or on the command line during installation.
