JSWare has a registry class as part of its Class Pack, one of whose functions is EnumKeys which enumerates registry keys, populating an array with the data. You can then loop through that array to determine the last entry.

From the sound of it, the script you have built is being used as a Custom Action in an MSI. Is that right? If so, you should remember the Best Practise principals for packaging, one of which is that, for any installing CA, you need to author a companion CA which will be run on uninstall. Remember to condition the uninstall CA with REMOVE~="ALL"

Can we accomplish this using VBScript? Yes
Please help on this. Do you mean "help" as in "provide me with a working script"? PM me a full specification and I'll send you a quotation.

PM me a full specification and I'll send you a quotation.Obviously, I wasn't clear. I'm sorry to disappoint you but I don't work for free. Send me via PM a detailed specification of your requirements. I will digest that and then send you a quotation for the costs involved in creating the script. What currency would you prefer to be billed in? Euros? Sterling? US dollars?
