Nero 7 Error

Interesting problem with Nero 7. The extracted and transformed msi installs completely successfully with a /qn, but in Group Policy it gives an error 1605 Not valid for products that are already installed. Also, if you run the transformed msi without the /qb, it gives the normal "does not support hiding dialogs" but continues anyway (and works with /qb).
We planned to change to Nero because the Roxio product does not support volume licenses or automated deployment, but neither it seems does Nero, at least with Group Policy. I imagine it works OK with SMS.
