New install of ASE crashes when loading an existing script or starting a new one
I just installed ASE and the install seemed to go very smoothly. Once installed I loaded a VB script I was working on and ASE just crashed without an error. I launched it again and tried to start a new script and it crashed again.
I am on 32-bit Win7 Ultimate w/4gb ram
System is Dell Optiplex 380 SMT.
This is my first exposure to this editor and I really like what I see. I hope there is a resolution to this.

As you know, crashes on a machine about which you know nothing is a cinch...
No-one here will have the first clue about how your system is set up, what other software you have installed, whether you have enough disk space for swapping, ya-di-da-di-da.
Your best option is to use ProcMon to monitor *exactly* what the system is trying to do immediately before the crash. Just remember to filter out stuff you're not interested in e.g. the IEXPLORE.EXE process, otherwise you'll be searching the output window for ever!
