ODBC entries in applications
How do we handle ODBC entries in softgrid.
I understand that a dummy ODBC User DSN and System DSN needs to be created in the sequencer machine prior to sequence an application if there is no DSN entry in the sequencer base image.
Is there any other setting that needs to be done to handle ODBC entries in applications.

That's pretty much it - in fact, you don't HAVE to have a dummy one in the base, but if you don't then your app won't be able to see any 'local' odbc so it's worth having the dummy one there first..

Yeah the process is pretty straightforward other than what you have mentioned - so much so in fact that I usually don't flag an app that installs a DSN as a potential problem ... one of the few concepts / technologies in application virtualization that just seems to 'work'. :-)
