Office 2003 install fails to remove previous versions of Office
Hey Guys,
Hopefully you can help me. I am using ORK to Create a MST file for Office 2003.
In the Wizard I choose to remove all previous versions of Office or Office 2000 only, and it will not remove Office 2000 Std SR-1
I Know I can view the .MST file I have created , I'm just not sure what I need to look for, or edit.
Any help, or thoughts would be appreciatted.
Cheers,
Barry

Run the install with verbose logging enabled, either through Group Policy or as a command-line argument. The resulting log will enable you to see what products were detected. If it's not detected, it can't be removed.
Thanks for your relpy. I took your advice and created a logfile. What so I look for ?
Something like this?
MSI (c) (48:7C) [09:49:23:641]: PROPERTY CHANGE: Adding OPCDETECTACCESS2000 property. Its value is '5'.
