Hi,

I am working on Office Communicator R2 2007 applicaiton.
My requirement is to uncheck "Save my instant message conversations in the outlook conversations History folder" and "Save my call logs in the outlook conversation history folder" options in Personal Information Manager at the same time the users must be in a position to enable both those two options by checking them but as soon as i installed those two options are grayed out in my package. can some one help me what registry key causes this.

Looking for the help

I wouldn't bother with the image: you've explained it well.

The first question is obvious: do your users have a 'Conversation History' folder in Outlook?

Yes, they do have.
here is the location of the same. "C:\Documents and Settings\%User Profile%\My Documents\My Received Files"

Thanks,

Yes, but is Outlook set up to use it? And hopefully you meant either "C:\Documents and Settings\%Username%\My Documents\My Received Files" or (better) "%User Profile%\My Documents\My Received Files"?

Hi Vbscab,
sorry for the confusion.
I am looking to enable those options, in case if the users want to enble those options.

By default those two options were un-checked and users must have the option to check those two options whenever they want but as soon as i install those two options were grayed out and i could not able to check them from Personal Information Manager.

Regards,
Ramu
