Office2007 MSP Repair

Hi,
How can i repair the customized MSP file of Office 2007 with out repairing the Office 2007 setup.
I am getting error in the log file Error 2746
Note: 1: 2746 2: 91002B0000000012.0.6215.1000 3: C:\WINDOWS\Installer\3f8ef96.msp 4: {91120000-002B-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE} 5: {90120000-0012-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}

Then after there is one more error
MSI (c) (F4:A0) [10:02:54:080]: Note: 1: 2262 2: Error 3: -2147287038
MSI (c) (F4:A0) [10:02:54:096]: Transforming table Error.

After this, the MSP is able to install but haven;t replaced any files or registries.
I used msiexec /p <custom.msp>

Is there any specific repair command for Office 2007...

I suppose /repair is only used for repairing the product like Standard or Enterprise with its XML file.
What about MSP repair??

Any suggestions

If you need to repair, you run a repair of the product. The WI engine will sort out what's "broken" and repair appropriately.

I think it will only repair the Office 2007 main setup and not the MSP file that is attached with using /adminfile
However, with your suggestion I shall try on a clean machine
setup.exe /adminfile <path of custom.msp> /config <configpath>

And will get back with results.

Many Thanks!

setup.exe /adminfile /config That's not a repair, though. It's a full install.

Yes Sorry I mentioned the Install command
The repair will
setup.exe /repair "Standard" /config <path of config file>
After Install I use this command after removing few files of MSP that are getting installed by it and will see if repair works as expected.

Thanks!

I have tested the same but repair option doesn't repairs the MSP that I hv built and doesn't copy some files and reg to its place.
Repair option only repairs the Office 2007 setup.

Any Alternatives?

What is the value of the REINSTALLMODE property?

REINSTALLMODE = omus
REINSTALL = ALL

But these options are not working and giving the above error that I have mentioned in my first post..

Are any of the files/registry entries you removed valid keypaths?

The MSP that is created is by using the OCT tool and I haven't find any option to set a key path

Is there any thing i am missing here..

The way was
setup.exe /admin and then create a new customization file..

In this MSP I just added few reg and files in some locations.
Pls advice
