One MSi two MST's. Install one, install two which adds extra components but doesn't.
There are 2 components to this MSI. the First MST only installs one of the components, this install is allocated across all of our machines. The other mst is allocated to only 20 - 40 machines across our system. This should install both components, due to the way our deployment system works once a package has been allocated at the top level down to every machine there is now way to break inheritance (crap I know). Which means that due to MST(1) be installed at the top level, MST(2) must install over the top of MST(1) but when I run the install with this MST it automatically picks up that it is already installed and attemps to repair but with the componets set by MST(1). I have tried recording the install over the top of MST 1 with installshield but this doen't work.
Any help other that repackaging the who thing would be great!
