Oracle 11G Add/Remove

I've completed a silent response file installation of Oracle 11G client & everything seems to be working fine except that i don't see an entry in Add/Remove? We often run ARP reports for inventory count & this is very essential in our environment. Any advise on this will be appreciated.

I'm not sure if the standard Oracle installer puts anything in ARP. A number of Google hits would suggest that to be the case.

Oracle 11G client does not create an ARP entry - we've just done a response file package for one of our clients.

You'll have to find another method of reporting on Oracle products, or author a script to add an entry as part of your installation - for reporting purposes only.

why don't you add the needed reg keys with an import of a reg file?

Larry hates Bill....
just add your own add/remove entry.
