Organizations?
Where can I find the settings for organizations? I've completely overlooked this feature while designing our service desk and this may be a big answer to managing multiple queues (or even changing logos for different companies!)
As I am not on TRIAL, do I need to contact KACE and get an update so I can access these? is there an organization management button somewhere I'm not seeing.

Contact support and request a new license key that enables organizations.
You will need to provide:
1. Your current license key
2. Your K1000 serial number
3. Your K1000 MAC address
If you are on a 5.4 (or higher) version of the K1000, your license key will be visible if you click on the "About K1000" link on the lower left of your web interface.
If not, how to find the License key if needed (it will be on the next line after "kb license core"): http://www.itninja.com/blog/view/determine-k1000-version-from-the-kbox-dbdata-gz-back-up-file
How to find your serial number:
From any webpage within the K1000 admin interface, click the Submit Support Ticket link on the lower right hand side. You may have to scroll down to see the link.

Thank you.
I've gotten a quick response and added an organization key, which expands this beast.
I have some more questions on this, and may have to make new articles:
I see the USER table seems to take info from eachother; the users did not port over but if a user logs in, it matches their info from ORG1, sound about right?
Organization management: kind of like queues, there is an ALL QUEUES view. Is there something similar for organizations? I want my techs to be able to manage both organizations at once, without having to switch back and forth, basically like queues. My grasp of this is I want it to be just like having multiple queues, but with the convenience of having each org (queue) having their own user logo. - Wildwolfay 11 years ago-
KACE training put together a video on organizations that might be helpful: https://kace.webex.com/kace/lsr.php?AT=pb&SP=TC&rID=65091927&rKey=af89cd10e700a5f2&act=pb
Organizations, depending on how they are configured, can be similar or different than each other.
If you are using LDAP for authentication in both ORG1 and ORG2, the user meets the LDAP criteria, and the LDAP criteria itself is the same, then yes, the information should be the same in both orgs.
You can use organization filters for users and machines: System>Organizations>Filters
Bear in mind for this that filters are only applicable to additional orgs, not your default organization.
There is not an "All Orgs" view that I am aware of. I'd suggest submitting it as a feature request here: http://kace.uservoice.com/forums/82699-k1000 - jknox 11 years ago-
