Outlook 2003 deploy fails

Hallo Everybody here in the Cyber,
i have some Problems to deploy Microsoft Outlook 2003 in silent mode over Netinstall on a kind of Client PC´s !!
I just wanted to deploy Outlook 2003 with the original MSI File and an MST file wich i was made with the ORK2003 (Office Resource Kit 2003).
To automatik configure the Outlook a also made an ORK File with the Profile Wizard on ORK2003.
Now i have the Problem when i deploy Outlook over NetInstall with the MSI-File and the created MST- and ORK-File on some kind of Client PC´s the Installation runs Perfect, Outlook is installed and configured and ready to use !!
But on the most of the Client PC´s Outlook was not installed correctly !! NetInstall says that the installation was finished without Errors, but when i look in the installation directory from Outlook 2003 there is one Directory completly missed.... and in the directory OFFICE11 there are no EXE Files inside ???
I think that the installation colide with something and than the directory was not installed and also not the EXE Files inside the OFFICE11 directory !!
I hope somebody can help me out of my missery !!
Thank´s for helping...

What are the differences between the client pc's ? Are they running the same OS, base build etc ?

How about getting a log file for the failed and working installations and compare them to see if you get any pointers..

Cheers,
Rob.

Hi,

Are there no differences you can think of between the 2 PC configurations? Do they have the same base suite of apps on them - what happens if you reload both machines with just XP SP2 and nothing else? Try and use a process of elimination to get to the bottom of the problem...

You can install the package inc transform etc from the command line and use "/l log.txt" to create a log file, or you should be able to log the install through NetInstall if the problem only exists when deployed centrally.

Hope it helps,
Rob.
