Outlook 2010 - automatically add public holidays to calendar
Hi all!
Does anyone know of a way to automatically add the public holidays to the Outlook 2010 calendar.
I have installed the corrected OUTLOOK.HOL file to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\1033 folder and the only way I know of or have been able to find on the web is to add these manually in Outlook.
I have to deploy this to over 2000 users and so would like these holidays to be present already when the user runs outlook for the first time. I know certain people here do not want the users to have to the holidays manually.
Has anyone figured out a way to do this?
Rgds,
Mark

If you're like me, you hate registering for sites just to see if an answer really works (and then getting a bunch of spam after finding out that the answere really didn't solve your problem). So you might try looking here instead: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee692767.aspx

- Expert's Exchange (who remembers their old URL - expertsexchange.com? Separate the words, making the first one singular rather than plural...) is one of the best information sites. Think of it as AppDeploy but for everything IT. And you obviously opt out of email marketing when signing up.
- IIRC, you don't actually have to subscribe to view that particular page
- What's with the Scripting Guys not using the 'With...End With' construct when populating the dictionary and elsewhere? [Shudder...]
