PAM4Exchange Outlook Client Addin
Hi all,
Has anyone ever packaged this for Windows 7 Office 2010?
I have tried to create a transform and install it from the command line but for some reason the properties for the Archive server amd the Retrieve Server are not being applied.
Also, as this is an Outlook Addin, is there anything special that I have to do to get it to work for each user?
Thanks,
Rgds,
Mark

Hi again,
I've figured out what to do. The transform was applying but there are 2 Custom Actions within the msi that were deleting the properties that I was setting. The 2 properties set are ARCHIVESERVER and RETRIEVESERVER. Once I removed the following Custom Actions from the package the properties weren't overwritten during install.
The 2 CA's are
CustomTextA_SetProperty_EDIT1
and
CustomTextA_SetProperty_EDIT2
Hope this will help someone else!

Hi Nico,
Not yet, I'm still getting the "Install" box when running Outlook. It's got something to do with Trust.
The error/dialog reads -
"publisher cannot be verified
Are you sure you want to install this customization?
Name: PAM4ExchangeAddin - ArchiveAddin
From: file:///C:/Program Files/Metalogix/PAM4Exchange Outlook Addin/PAM4ExchangeAddin.vsto
Publisher: Unknown Publisher
Install/Don't Install"
I reckon that if this file can be certified then there would be no need to need to choose Install. Anyone ever had this or managed to get rid of this screen?
Thanks,
Rgds,
Mark
