Patching a transformed MSI

Hi,
Can somebody please suggest me how to create a MSP file for a MSI delivered with MST using Wise. As, the way I've created, I'm getting error 1334 during self heal or repair. It looks for merge module files(comcat232.dll) in different cab file.
Thanks in advance.

Eh? Patching really isn't the way to a solution.

Which element included the merge module , the MSI or MST? Do you get the error if you install without the MST?

Hi VBScab,
The Modules have been added through MSI only.
I've created one patch just for MSI and that works. But that patch is not working with MSI+MST, so I've to create a new patch which can be applied to MSI+MST(as the MST installs some extra files and registries).
In all there'll be two patches: one works on MSI and another works on MSI+MST. Now the one which I've created for MSI+MST is giving me error 1334.

Why are you creating patches ? If a patch is provided by a vendor you can apply it on the provided msi (which you never should edit yourself) and in the mst you add your customization. But if you start with a msi there is no need to make a msp, only a msi+mst
