Photoshop elements- Update Suppress!
I have a doubt regarding Photoshop elements update menu.
i looked into the package KB and created application.xml.override file which disables registration window and update doesnot appear in menu items as expected.
Works great!
But in some apps it happens that updates does not appear in menu items but still updates happen automatically in background.
can someone please confirm that including the application.XML.override file suppresses updates completely or just from it's menu items?

It should do the trick have you saved the file in the correct format should be utf-8

As u said it works fine, update tab does not appear.
However, i just needed confirmation that it should not be the case that update tab is disabled but it still checks for updates in the background (or automatically updates the software).
