Pointer to commonly used Custom action VBScript's

Hi,

I want to maintain a document .. can anyone please point me to a souce where commonly used VBscript like
Deleting files/folders during uninstallation.
Start/Stop services
Self registering a file
are available ready to use..

Plz any reference would be appreciated..

Funnily enough you don't need VBScript custom actions to do the following:

Deleting files/folders during uninstallation. RemoveFile table
Start/Stop services ServiceControl table
Self registering a file File table

as the logic is already built into MSI's!

MSI's can be surprising in regard to what the can, and can't do. If you're looking for a reference, read the documentaiton on all those obscure tables. MS documents it HERE.

Ah... A result of Divine Inspiration.

Remember, friends don't let friends package drunk. AcrobatReaderWithPlayboyScreensaver.msi only seems like a good idea for a short time.
