Printer Drivers packaging using wise 5.6
I am trying to package printer dirvers using wise .
5.6 windows installer editor has one template for Device Drivers too which adds the merge module "DIFxapp" merge module but thr is no wizard kind of thing to start packaging. As per my knowledge normal setup caprture wont work in this case as we need to have .INF and .CAT files added to the package......
Please let me know if anyone has idea on how to package these drivers.

thanks for the ur reply...
the link is really usefull and is woking fine...
the issue is that now Microsoft has come up with Driver Install Framework (DIFxApp) and a merger module is already available for it. I wanted to use that merge module for the packaging.Wise also came up with the template for packaging the printer drivers but the process is not very clear to me.
Need some pointers to package the drivers using DIFxApp.
Thanks

same problem here.
I used the pnp driver install template to make a package of palmusb drivers and a package of sony ericsson k750i, but when i make a package of windows ce mobile drivers the package needs more admin right to install(message under useraccount offcourse). The package offcourse works fine under administrator. Have you come further with difxapp
