Question About File "Exclude Globally"

Hi gurus,
I'm somewhat new to capturing with a reboot. I know best practices tell me to reboot, but I have never had a true need to until now. So, I did a simple reboot of my computer and captured 7 file entires using Wise Package studio 7.

DataStore.edb
Perfstringbackup.INI

Are two that bother me the most. Should I exclude them globally from all future captures? Whould there ever be a problem that would require entires like this to be included?

Some others are edb.chk and edb.log and tmp.edb I think those are log files that can be safely excluded.

I have tried searching but I really don't get any definite answers. I really appreatice any help on this.

Sincerely,
Magnum

DataStore.edb - Windows Update d/b. Exclude or, better, exclude WU/AU from applying to your packaging box.

Perfstringbackup.INI - Connected with PerfMon. Exclude.

edb.chk \
edb.log -- Check-point files created by the Jet database engine. Exclude.
tmp.edb /

Thanks a lot. My automatic update settings are all greyed out. I guess I mistakenly had it on the domain to get the GP settings. Looks like I might have to rebuild from scratch. [&o]
