Quiet VSE 8.7 Install on Windows 7

I am trying to perform a quiet VSE 8.7 Install on Windows 7, but when I run setupvse.exe /quiet it still prompts me if I want to uninstall Windows Defender.

I checked with McAfee and they just suggested that I uninstall Windows Defender before I install Virusscan. But I was wondering if there was anyway I could still get the MSI to perform the uninstall of Defender, perhaps with some kind of answer file?

Provided Defender supports a silent uninstall (you can check in the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall) then you can call that uninstall command line via custom action (or prerequiste program) of your VSE 8.7 installation.

Cheers,

Looks like it doesn't support a silent uninstall - I couldn't find that key in the registry.

I guess I will look at other options. Thanks for your help!
