Having trouble with 2 Rational Products - XDE Developer and XDE Modelor
Package is setup according to Admin guides. "setup.exe -g RespFile - SMS Provides status of Success However, Application is not installed.

I would like to say -sms command line is no more to be used with new installations made using install shield , try the following steps:
1. goto run and type c:\setup.exe -r -f1C:\setup.iss
2. once the setup is complete uninstall it and rerun the setup with this command line:
c:\setup.exe \s\v\qn -f1c:\setup.iss
This would run the setup in a silent mode and will definitely install the product, also refer to setup.log (created under the setup directory) if the result code is =-3/-5 then its probably because the answer file is not present. I have discussed on top as to how to create an answer file. Do let me know in case you require any further help.
