Re-Image computer that is encrypted
We use Symantec Encryption Desktop and use K2000 SDA. We currently have a Surface Book that is stuck in a loop that will not boot into the OS. We have tried everything that Symantec has suggested so we are wondering if we can reimage this computer without decrypting it first.

It depends, but I feel this is a question for Symantec Encryption team.....
If you already have a KBE booted via NIC or USB stick that supports this model, you could open command prompt from Recovery Tools, run DISKPART and try deleting and recreating the primary partition on the encrypted hard disk.

If this works, then you can move straight to reimaging with any imaging solution. If the hard disk cannot be accessed, or formatted, you will need to decrypt first.
