RealPlayer 14.0.3.644
Good day,
Unfortunatly we need Real Player installed on our machines because the United States Senate uses Real Player for their broadcasts. [:@]
I'm trying to install Real Player 14.0.3.644 on new machines using our MDT2010 server. Existing machines, we will use SCCM 2007. Either way I'm in need to get Real Player installed like we did with the previous version 12.x One of our engineers used the assistance of this site to get the previous version installed properly. The installation used a registry key to edit some of the fields. Supress EULA, No updates etc.
Has anyone been able to deploy 14.x and supress the EULA, supress updates (users can't install) and have it default to the basic player?
As I have it now, realplayer.exe -s, installs but asks for the EULA and then asks what version you want to use. Plus, Plus with music, or the basic player.
I can't contact Real Networks as they only have support if you purchase the program. I don't know why the US Senate broadcasts in Realplayer... Does that mean our Govt Agency now has to spend $$$ to be able to support this? Arrg.
Can anyone help me out. Thanks,

Use these reg settings after you install. You can find all preferences keys here as well. Enjoy!
License Key
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RealNetworks\RealPlayer\12.0\Preferences\EulaAcceptedVersion]
@="4"
This is the auto update key!
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RealNetworks\RealPlayer\12.0\Preferences\Warn]
@="1"

No success.
We even went as far as purcashing the Enterprise version as I thought that would be better. Guess again. Their .EXE will not install via the MDT2010 process or through SCCM2007. It hangs and says running.
They will not give me a msi and says I have to figure out how to create one myself.
I'm going to suggest we drop this crap software.
